Finally, I received a response from Graham at Convex support:
Hi Jubair,
Sorry for the delay, let me check with the team and see if we are having any known issues with login sessions going away too quickly.

My Own Fix
Before writing this article, I tried to investigate myself.
Turns out, the issue is related to the wos-session cookie. Its Expires / Max-age value was set to “Session”, which means it disappears when the browser is closed.
I manually changed it to a future time — and it worked.
Closing Thoughts
Convex should’ve responded more quickly. Even if this was intentional (say, a security feature), a simple reply explaining it would’ve saved me a lot of frustration.
